    Optimizing a .tiff in fireworks

    Gordon000

      Hi,

I keep trying to import a .tiff file to be optimized through Fireworks, but I get the error in the screen shot below.

Previously I was importing jpeg images that had ALREADY been optimized through Photoshop and then optimizing them again in Fireworks once I exported the entire .html file. The picture quality ended up being poor even when I kept the jpeg quality at 100% in the export tab.

What is the best practice to use when optimizing high resolution files?

      Thanks,

      Gordon
