    If "field a" = 1 then "field b" = 2

To say I am a javascript novice would be a slight understatement. I have what I think is a relatively easy task to do, but am a little unsure of the correct coding to make it happen.

A form I am working on has a combo box which is for foreign currency names (US Dollar, Japanese Yen etc). Next to the combo box is a blank field for the corresponding 3 letter code for the currency (e.g. USD, JPY etc). When a user selects a currency from the drop down menu I need the field next to it to display the corresponding 3 letter currency code.

If anyone is able to point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful.
