1. Re: CS5 Live Caption Issue with Anchored Images
Steve Werner Apr 9, 2011 7:12 AM (in response to RichardM0701)It sounds like the feature just has that limitation in CS5. Did you try creating the Live Caption BEFORE you anchor it? Does it them retain its "liveness"?

RichardM0701 Apr 11, 2011 9:13 AM (in response to Steve Werner)Hi Steve,
I can create the Live Caption before I anchor it, but unfortunately once it is anchored, it loses its "liveness". The funny thing is once it is anchored, I do not even have the options available to create a static or live caption.

Jonathan-Pitcher Jun 1, 2011 5:24 AM (in response to RichardM0701)Hi Richard,
I have the same problem as you do. I'm working on user manuals, with hundreds of screen captures I want to flow with text. The Live caption feature is wonderful, only it does not work with anchored images! If anyone out there finds a way to deal with this issue, or knows of a patch or update to download...

Jonathan-Pitcher Jun 1, 2011 5:25 AM (in response to Jonathan-Pitcher)I've also noticed that the live caption works fine with PSD or JPEG images, but not with PNG files...
