I'm using embedded pdfs in my web application. Sometimes a splash menu appearing on top of document for a few seconds. the size of pdfs are very small so splash menu is preventing to read pdfs immediately. Is it possible to the hide them totally. This problem occurs only in reader X. When the read mode is on: always splash menu is appearing, when off: there is no rule, sometimes appearing?
Thx in advance.
That's the HUD toolbar - it's what Read Mode is, so you can't turn it off unless you disable Read Mode.
Thank you Dave.
I disabled the Read Mode, but HUD toolbar is still floating sometimes. I noticed that: when the web page loaded with embedded pdf, for the first time there is no HUD, but if you refresh the page HUD is appearing.
I will be very appreciated if you have any suggestion.
It is also possible to disable read mode by registry:
HKCU > Software > Adobe > Acrobat Reader > 10.0 > AVGeneral
Dword - bBrowserDisplayInReadMode = 0
