I have several precious 35mm Kodachrome slides that were shot with an early 80's vintage Nikon 24mm f/2.8 lens, that had a combination of barrel and pin cushion distortion at the same time. In two important shots, the edge of the frame goes away from the center (barrel distortion) and closer to the corners of the frame, the same edge is being pulled in toward the center (pin cushion distortion).
I no longer have access to the lens, and doubtful if it would work on a modern digital body anyway.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to approach starting to create a profile for such a beast?
Thanks,
George
