I have a 1.5 gb .mov that I conver to flv with a free converter. The resulting flv is 232 mb. Plays fine in media palyer with sound. Wanting to further reduce size I ran through After Effects using 15 fps, mono sound and low bitrate and got it down to 173 mb. When I played in media player, no sound so i ran it through
media encoder with sound and video and got it down to 130 mb. lays but still no sound..
I had all sound setting set correctly. Why would the audio disappear?
No idea, really. could still be you introduced a settings conflict somewhere. Recompressing an already compressed file doesn't strike me as smart, anyways. You could just as well work off the original MOV....
I will just stick with the one step processing. I guess I just have to deal with the 100-200 movie clips.
