Put your image on a layer (not Background).
Take a few moments to make a very irregular selection of part of your image with the Polygonal Lasso Tool, then do Edit - Transform - Warp to move one end of it away from the non-selected parts a little. Some subtle shading of the background and/or a Drop Shadow Layer Style...
Most of all, experiment. That's the best way to get to know Photoshop.
