When is it releasing?
The CUDA MPE enhancements alone have sold me. Im in.
Had I been the head of marketing, I think I'd have called this CS6, but then on one asked me...
> When is it releasing?
Will the new PPCS 5.5 be able to import the 1080/60p files directly from my Panasonic HDC-tm700p ?

I've not tried that camera myself, and you didn't mention what codec that camera uses, so I'll give you the same answer that I give to everyone who asks about Premiere Pro CS5.5 import support:
Becuase the trial version of Premiere Pro CS5.5 has no limitations regarding codecs compared with the full version, the best way to find out for certain about whether your files can be imported is to download the trial version and try for yourself. See this page for information about the trial version and supported import formats.
1080p/60 is sort of the "******* stepchild" of AVCHD. It falls outside the specification proper due to it's 28 Mbps max bitrate and the fact that there is no defined HD spec to match, but it is otherwise the same.
The codec for it's best quality recording is:
1080/60p 1920 x 1080 28Mbps MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (original format)
The second best recording option is:
HA 1920 x 1080 17Mbps MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (AVCHD)
I don't have my computer built yet that will run PProCS5 so I can't try the trial version 5.5.
Running the 1080/60p straight from the camcorder to the TV using HDMI cord looks great. Freeze frame produces crisp images. I'd like to produce some videos where the viewer can pause and admire the best detail of my work as possible.

In that case, you'll need to work with video than is legal for a BluRay... which, according to Jim, does not include 1080-60p (I don't know, since I don't do BluRay)
