Is there another component with a direction style?
The error show in the problem console refer to an utility/common project, which will be referenced by many other projects. It does have a class define something like [style "direction"], and if I commented this style definition or change override property to yes, this error disappear in this project, but goes to a chart project, like something refered here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2640549?tstart=0 but the error message is " 'Declaration of style 'direction' conflicts with previous
declaration in c:\program files\FlexBuilder\sdks\SDK 4\frameworks\libs
I think those other projects will have to use a different style property
other than direction in order to be compatible with Flex 4x
I searched ComboBox source code under
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\controls, and didn't find "direction" in both 3.5 and 4.0.0 source code, but in the language reference guide, there is a "direction" style. Is that possible that the "direction" style conflict actually not happen in mx.controls.ComboBox or mx.controls.DateField, even not happens in the project the error message refers to? I have 35 sub-projects and can't locate the code where the actual error happens.
Looks like it comes from mx.core.UITextField
