I downloaded two books from my public library into Adobe Digital Editions, where they read perfectly.  However, in copying the books to my NookColor, I get a request for a name and a password to open the books.  I've tried my Adobe authorization, but that doesn't work.  Any suggestions?

My library issued me a library card, and when I signed up for online

services, my library card number and a password I chose when activating

online services are what I use to log into the library. I don't know why

you're getting a request for a User ID and password from your Nook,

though.... Did you register the Nook with B&N?

The Nook is registered with Barnes & Noble.  My library card was issued with a number and a password, but that information didn't open the book.  I suspect that I somehow got the books loaded on to the Nook in a way that didn't allow automatic authorization.  I'm going to go through the process again this evening and see if it doesn't work the way it should.  Thanks for your reply.
