This may just be a limitation of Presenter or possibly I'm just missing a setting somewhere, but it appears that if you setup a sound to play when clicked through Powerpoint, you lose that functionality when publishing to Presenter. For instance, I have a slide with narration that was recorded with Presenter and an audio clip I'd like to have played when clicked on the sound icon on the slide. The result is that both files play at the beginning of the slide, despite my powerpoint settings to play when clicked. Additionally, if I remove the slide audio and only have the click to play audio on the slide, it will play automatically after publishing.
Is there a way around this or do you lose the functionality? This presentation is quite hefty and I'd hate to have to remake it in Captivate. Many thanks!
Looks like you are stuck on this. I have an idea that onclick events does not work in Presenter. It is a know issue and I have cames across it earlier. After publishing the presentation it will be converted to swf which may not be able to detect your onclick events. So I am afriad that you have switch back to Captivate for that.
