    Loss of quality when Scaling

      Hi

I am using CS4 and when scaling footage from my XHA1, I get loss of quality on the final render (MPEG2 720p).  I'm guessing this is to be expected.  But I was wondering if the amount of quality loss is relative to the amount of scale?  So if I 'zoom in' to 125, is that more loss than 108 ?

To be clear, I'm using the 'Scaling' option on the Motion effect panel and increasing the number to get closer into the picture.  Sometimes this is for cutting out stuff in the periphery that is not desirable, but sometimes I'm using it 'Artistically' to get a better shot.  But if this feature loses so much quality then I won't use it.

Sorry if this is obvious, but I want to be sure.

      Thanks
