Rather new at all of this, so glad I located this forum. I have a question that I'd hugely appreciate some input on.
I'm working with PM6.5 on my current Hard Drive. I'm wanting to relocate it to an external HD as it takes up so much memory.
My question: If I were to download PM6.5 onto a fresh external drive, could I then transfer my existing working files over to the external without losing, damaging or messing things up entirely? For instance, just a cut / past or even a Move to the new external PM? I would then of course, remove the other copy and free up my main drive.
Anyone have any experience with this at all? Many, many thanks!!! LaVita21
I assume you have an incredibly old computer if you think that PM is taking up a lot of space. That said, you're not likely to have any success installing it on an external drive.

My thoughts exactly!
However if you fully un-install PM, you should be able to install it on an external HDD provided the drive letter of the HDD stays the same and you use a contemporary version of Windows. However, there are no guarantees.
