firefox 4.0 bookmarks are stored in a file called places.sqlite. the default [and only] app. to open an .sqlite file is adobe reader. however, when i attempt to open the file i get an adobe error message saying that it is either corrupted or an unsupported file type.
how can i determine if the file is corrupted?
is .sqlite a supported file type?
this is driving me nuts. any help would be greatly appreciated.
No, Reader does not open such files, it opens PDFs.
thank you. after banging my head against the wall a while longer, i've come to understand that ff4 .sqlite files are not meant to be and do not need to be opened to repair them.
still, i wonder why they are designated adobe reader apps in the finder.
