Have you thought about twirling down some of those options? Like, for example, transform?
You really, really need to start here and work your way through these materials first before you go on to things like the puppet tool. Otherwise you will be frustrated.
You really didn't think to twirl down any of those options? Try twirling down "transform" and see what you get.
Szalam's absolutely right. You need to follow that link. Learning AE by following a smattering of tutorials will only get you so far. You need to know the basics... which most tutorials don't cover. They assume that you already KNOW the basics.
See the problem?
What the others said... No point in even watching those tutorials, if you don't have the slightest clue where those properties actually are. I know this sounds harsh, but really, you have it completely backwards - you want to create art, but don't even know how to hold the brush. Undoubtedly for this project you will also need to use pre-composing and 3D navigation and I don't even wanna imagine how you wanna manage that without understanding the basics... Really, do read this "Getting started" stuff and then try this again.
Just curious, where did you find that tutorial? Using Puppet Tool directly on a 3D layer is a little unconventional.
