I want to create a mockup of several pages of a website in FW CS5. However, I have no idea what the resolution should be. The site will be designed for people that are somewhat technically proficient, so perhaps they will have their resolutions set higher? Though what should that be?
Thanks for any input.
Browsers don't read the resolution of graphics. The resolution you set will not affect the way the image looks in a browser, nor will it affect the file size. Screen resolution is a seperate thing. I think most people have it set to the level at which they can read most comfortably. You have no control over that.
if I want to create a mockup of a website in FW, what size should I make the canvas? That is what I'm trying to figure out. What are the most common sizes that websites are designed in?
I use 940 to 960 pixels wide for fixed width pages.
