The error I receive says:
Error 1310. Error writing to file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.ReaderUpdater.exe. Verify that you have access to that directory.
I've tried clicking retry and ignore, but ultimately my only option is to cancel the installation. This happens everytime I try to instal Adobe Reader. It downloads just fine, but will not install. I've tried going to that file and deleting it, but I can't because it says that this is a corrupt or unreadable file. I don't know what to do. Someone please help!!!
As of now I do not have any version of Adobe Reader because I unistalled what I had hoping that I could just reinstal and that maybe that would fix the problem, but not I'm Reader-less and I need this software for a research paper! I've tried installing older versions, but I can't do that either because of that corrupt or unreadable file. Please help!
Once you get it installed if it happens again Open Adobe reader, click on Help then select the repair adobe reader option once that has finished open adobe reader again click on help and select the update option.
BTW when I did it I had already turned UAC off thinking that it was that which was causing the problem but I don't think you need to turn UAC off.
