While trying to run the Adobe Watermark Palette, I receive the syntax error as stated in the subject of this posting.
I removed the Watermark Palette using Adobe Extension Manager and reinstalled it. I receive the same error.
I've double and triple checked all of the settings in the palette. Everything looks right. Both preview and run yield the same error message.
Any hints on how to debug this problem?
Yes... it did work once upon a time. I don't know what has changed.
I would go get the latest version from http://russellbrown.com/scripts.html Version 2.0.6 is the latest and you should see that information in the flyout menu for the panel in the upper right. If you have that version try the 'Reset preferences' option and restart Photoshop.
I think this had to do with characters in the file name and the fact that we didn't escape/encode everything correctly to get the info from the panel to the script.
If you have version 2.0.6 please send me the log file (using the panel menu) so I can see if we need more protection code for this problem. And the file that you are trying to use if you can isolate it to a certain file.
Updating from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 solved the problem.
Thank you very much!
