I'm new to the forum but I'm having such problems with Catalyst that I thought i'd speak up
I'm currently creating a small guitar program using Catalyst, and when I try to publish it keeps saying 'Project is too large and cannot publish'. I tried removing a number of assets but I just keep getting the same pop up saying 'its too large, cannot publish'.
Nothing within the file is extraordinarily large, maybe not enough optimization?
I'm just wondering if anyone knows whats the maximum file size a project should be, before I can properly publish my project?, or if i went wrong somewhere???
Your help would be greatly appreciated
I am not sure what the limit is, but one more thing you can try to is to enable any image to be linked rather than embedded within the Flash Catalyst file. Select the image in the Project Library, then right-click on it and select "Convert to Linked Image". That might help.
Another idea, you might use tiny audio files with the same name in the project, then publish, then overwrite the audio files with the full version. I am assuming there is audio involved since it is about guitars.
