I have encountered the same problem, except it just freezes. I only get the error report after I force the program to end with task manager. I am using Windows XP Home 5.1.26.
Microsoft says re-install Acrobat reader. Did that, same issue arises.
So I narrowed down this problem.
I am able to print to Microsoft Document Image Writer driver, as well as local printers.
I am able to print to a printer with wifi on my network.
This issue is specific to a printer I have shared on the network, connected to another PC.
I also tried older versions of acrobat reader and found the same issue.
I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox (because that was recently updated) but the same problem exists.
I am perplexed. I can print from all other software to this specific shared printer, just not with Adobe Acrobat. And this is only recent, yesterday was the first time it happened.
Same here. In my enterprise environment i have several Kyocera Network enabled printers, HPs, network faxes and i have Adobe Reader 10.0.1 ending working with error almost everytime i try to print pdf. Its like 1 time printing ok to 10 times having error. Thankfully this happens only on one workstation.
For now I will just send files over to our Mac to print from. Hopefully an
update will resolve the issue soon.
