I don't understand the question.
Why bother encoding it to a file? One of the main features of CS5 is that you can export it is a FCP project, edit in FCP and then load it back into CS5 and keep editing.

This is to everyone who has respond thanks, sorry for the delay I have been
on deadlines. This is the first 2 minute to answer the post I've had, with
that said, "digitlman" I think you have the answer and will do a test in the
next 24 hours. I have never use that feature in CS5 and will look at CS5.5.
I was under the assumption (bad move) that the video files did not travel
with the FCP and PP project extensions. Again I will test this today. I may
need to get 5.5. Sometime you real can't see the forest for the trees. I
deal with some much encoding issues for many project, that I sometimes over
think it, Will let everyone know if this is the right fix.
You mentioned "H.264" but you really didn't offer much beyond that. For example, are these MOVs, MP4s, or something else? That will help make a more direct recommendation.
