Alternate way to encode 5.1 Surround from Premiere Pro?

I just used Premiere to edit and export my first 5.1 surround audio.  I used the SurCode encoding to do it and noticed that you're only allowed three trial exports before you have to purchase a licence for $295.

Is there an alternate encode method out there that is free or costs less, or are you forced to purchase this if you want to export to Dolby Digital Surround?
