          Hi Sean- Sorry in advance- I'm not responding to your Cuba action call- but I'm hoping you can help me. I have an old file I just uncovered that was originally produced in Macromedia Director 5.0r134 from 1997. I need help activating it as I am exploring a new use of this simulated game. Can you give me any direction or advice on this- I would greatly appreciate it as I have been swimmig through Adobe and other forums for days and that's exactly how I feel now. Dazed.             Sorry for the late response - I've been away (in Cuba, strangely...)

             

            I would suggest running it through the "Update Movies" process in D7 then D10 then D11.5, then starting to fix anything broken (outdated xtra, obsolete syntax, ...) By no means an easy process. If the movie isn't too huge you could upload it somewhere and I'll take a look.
