How do you remove leftbar menu when you start up Adobe Reader

    Tevapch

      Goodmorning everyone.

I am having a bit off a challenge here and i am not able to find a solution anywhere in google.

Is it possible when you start up Adobe Reader that the left menubar (Layers) can be removed forever? Everytime when i startup up this file of Adobe Reader, the left menubar continuesly appear.

      This is the unconfigured picture:

Do you guys have any ideas? Because the options of the left menubar are grayed out.

Upfront, you cannot change a PDF's Initial View configuration with Adobe Reader.

With Acrobat one can go to an open PDF's Document Properties dialog.

Under the Initial View tab of the dialog there is a "Layout and Magnification" pane.

One of the configuration settings in this pane is "Navigation tab".

Your PDF's setting/value for "Navigation tab" is "Layers Panel and Page".

With Acrobat, another value can be selected (Page Only | Bookmarks Panel and Page | Pages Panel and Page | Attachments Panel and Page).

          Be well...
