I have an application where I can do a search for items and
then populate a datagrid with the found set. Above the datagrid is
a toolbar which I am developing. One of the buttons has some debug
code to dump data via an Alert.show. This works fine most of the
time. What I have found though is that if the result set for the
datagrid is empty, the Alert generates greying out of the window,
but no alert popup and I then have to reload the swf to reset it. I
have proven this over and over, and am wondering if anyone else has
found this, or whether it is specific to something I am doing.
I haven't heard of this. Can you produce a reproducible test
case - one that doesn't require any backend server and just has the
bare minimum of code to isolate the condition? If you could post
it, we'll take a look and see what's happening.
I tried setting up a test scenario and failed miserably.
Could not make it happen, The big difference is that the real app
creates the columns dynamically, so I need to try and replicate
that behaviour - it may be to do with the way we are creating the
