zei-mgilvey May 12, 2011 6:28 AM (in response to Curt Y)Yea, I looked at that. The problem is when there is already exisiting data in there, I don't want to contaminate it with my own. There should be a way to make a custom tab so custom info could be added all in one place. That way I could keep my data separate from existing data that may already be in the file and be able to access it all in one spot.
I guess, if that's all there is, I'll just have to weed my info into it some how. Ultimatly, search doesn't care ware it is, if the info is there it will find it. I was just looking for a way to isolate our data.
Maybe Adobe will add a feature to do that some day as people begin to realize how important DAM is.

Curt Y May 12, 2011 10:33 AM (in response to zei-mgilvey)If you want 2 seperate metadata info files, you probably need to make 2 copies of image. You can add a character in front or back to of all company images to want to have duplicate data. Make the defining symbol the same for all images so easy to sort this way.

Paul Riggott May 12, 2011 1:26 PM (in response to zei-mgilvey)Custom data can be added, the problem is that custom means different thing to different people. So Adobe has given you the option of scripting, this will allow you to create your own custom fields.
For details download the Software Development Kit from..
