Stevedocmaker May 10, 2011 11:16 AM (in response to Stevedocmaker)Check that, At first I looked for a newer driver on the NVIDIA website. But in the CUDA control panel there is a newer update. I'll install that and get back to you.

4. Re: Hard crash when resizing windows in CS5 & CS5.5 - help!
Kevin-Monahan May 10, 2011 11:21 AM (in response to Stevedocmaker)Nvidia and Adobe are aware of a problem with the 270.61 and 270.71 drivers. We recommend against using these drivers. A driver with a fix for this issue (270.73) will be available soon.

5. Re: Hard crash when resizing windows in CS5 & CS5.5 - help!
Stevedocmaker May 10, 2011 12:37 PM (in response to Kevin-Monahan)Kevin - I see now that there are separate drivers for CUDA and the GPU. The GPU driver I have installed (the latest available) is 256.01, (I don't even see 270.61 nor 270.71 for my system). Are you saying that the new driver will address this issue?
Updating the CUDA driver did not seem to help. Adobe tech support suggested trying a new user (admin), but this did not help either.
FYI, a temproary workaround could be to close the source windo when resizing. I have tried this a few times with success. Any other suggestions?

6. Re: Hard crash when resizing windows in CS5 & CS5.5 - help!
Stevedocmaker May 11, 2011 1:00 AM (in response to Kevin-Monahan)The drivers you refer to are apparently PC. I am running CS5.5 on a Mac. Is Adobe aware of issues with a Quadro 4000, Mac and current GPU driver?

Kevin-Monahan May 11, 2011 12:00 PM (in response to Stevedocmaker)Are you running OS X 10.6.4? Perhaps you need to update your OpenGL driver. Go here to get more info: http://blogs.adobe.com/toddkopriva/2010/08/snow-leopard-graphics-update-should-help-with-o pengl-driver-issues.html
