I am working on a web banner, where I am using live text. My resolution is set to full, I have continuous rasterization on, and all my layers quality set to best.
In AE CS5, it looks terrible, but I was hoping that it was another usual leap of faith, where it would render perfectly, well, it didn't and looks terrible rendered too.
I've thrown some pictures in to help, I hope to have this resolved soon, but every answer I have found online has been of no luck to me.
The type is at 11 - 10 pt so its small, and I haven't distorted it in anyway.
It's hard to tell from your screenshots, but I think that you're seeing an inevitable limitation of your composition only being 60 pixels tall. Your big text is only ~1/5 the height of your composition, which means that you only have ~12 pixels to work with. That's a very small number of pixels, so you're inevitably going to see the pixelation---especially when zoomed in to 200% as you are.
First problem is that your comp viewer is at 200%. It should render fine and look a bunch better when the comp view is set to 100%.
My previous post seems to have disappeared. Your comp window is set to 200%. That creates problems viewing but does not have any effect on the render.
