It would not mix well in a RAID application if for instance if you were to want to take either one of those other two numbers and you found this bargin on another Seagate 7200.12 1 TB 7200 rpm drive like this one that Microcenter is selling for $49 it is from the Maxtor acquisition and its model number is ST310005N1A1AS The "N1" in the model numbers indicate it is a Maxtor design as opposed to a Seagate design

Im about to post a new thread requesting assistance. I have the new pc now, plugged it in yesterday, and am really a little overwhelmed with the setup and would really appreciate some guidence if possible.
