I've ended up creating a form with serveral hundred checkboxes. In order to create it, I create a few checkboxes then cut and pasted them to generate the rest of the form. Unfortunately, this means all the fields have the same name and are coping the same value. Can I write a script that will change the name of each field? My checkboxes are "yes#0", "yes#1", "yes#2", etc. I want them to be "yes0", "yes1", "yes2", etc. But, when I try "this.getField("yes#0"), it comes back null. Is there a syntax I can use with getField to access each checkbox individually?
I really don't want to open up the property editor on 400+ checkboxes...
// Get the rect of the first "yes" field
var rect = getField("yes.0").rect;
When you're done adding the new fields, you can delete the old with the doc.removeField method.
