I made a website in HTML5 with some CSS3 stuff, like semitransparent backgrounds, rounded corners etc. I know it doesn't work in versions of IE below 9, but can I somehow make a IECC and put it somewhere in order to tell IE to show me a white background instead of a black one (my text is black, so that's not a good combination).
Is it possible? Where do I put it? I have tried, but it didn't work out so well.
My address is www.cdv-design.com
Most grateful if someone could help me!
Where you have the IECC -
<!--[if lt IE 9]> <script src="http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
<style type="text/css"> Your css would go here </style>
Insert your css where indicated.
Remember that this must always be below any other css used in your page.
YES! It works, thank you so much!
