I had an image of the dialog box put it was removed when I posted. After entering email and password a "Your Account" dialog box appears. I enter my birthdate, part of a URL, check both boxes, and the "Update Account" remains disabled. I can not sign in.
Welcome to the forum.
Can you be more specific, as to what you are trying to do, and what you are trying to do it with?
Thanks and good luck,
Is this in the Forum, Adobe ID Account, or elsewhere?
For attaching images, use the little "camera" icon in the lower-middle of the editing screen in the forum. Make sure that your image is not too large, is in JPEG, or PNG format, and I'd also eliminate any spaces in the file's name, with _ (underscores) too.
When I run the trial version I am presented with a splash screen. I click on the "I'm new to Elements" button. A "Organize with ease" screen appears and I click the right arrow button for next screen. It says "Create an Adobe ID to register your software and enable your backup and sharing services." There is a button that says "Create Adobe ID". Below the button it says "Already have an Adobe ID? Sign in below."
So I sign in at the bottom left corner. An "Your Account" dialog appears. I select month, day, year of birth, enter missing part of url http://______.photoshop.com, check both boxes, and the "Update Account" button remains disabled.
I found a way around the problem.
I went to photoshop.com and entered my URL http://_________.photoshop.com.
Then when I ran premiere elements I did not get prompted by the "My Account" dialog.
Adobe should fix this. If I weren't so persistent I might have given up.
I highly recommend you contact Adobe and advise them of your concern.
You can reach Adobe by clicking the Contact button at the top of this web page.
