Steve Werner May 19, 2011 12:12 PM (in response to cocteau3)Most of us are using CS4, CS5 or CS5.5.
Most of us on the Mac are on Leopard or Snow Leopard.

cocteau3 May 19, 2011 12:46 PM (in response to Steve Werner)Well, for those of us who don't have the latest greatest as Adobe would prefer so we will keep buying the latest software . . . . here's a helpful link to answer my own question:
http://www.adobe.com/products/adobesupportsOSX.html
It proves a link between Tiger and CS2. Perhaps reliable....

Steve Werner May 19, 2011 3:19 PM (in response to cocteau3)Great. Go for it.
I wasn't saying you should upgrade. I was just pointing out why you weren't getting a lot of response. This tends to be a relative quiet forum anyway.

6. Re: Will Creative Suite CS2 run on Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger?
dwalker1948 May 21, 2011 11:39 PM (in response to cocteau3)I have been using CS2 for years with Tiger 10.4.11, and they work together like a charm. No problems. Now, I want to buy an iPod Touch, which requires Leopard, so I'm wondering if CS2 will run on Leopard. I have a G5 Power PC, 1.8 Ghz Dual Processor Mac with 3 GB of memory. Will this work? Or, do I have to buy a new machine just so I can get iPod Touch to work, which would also require, I assume, CS4 or 5? Any assistance will be greatly appreciatd. Thanks!

BobLevine May 22, 2011 5:09 AM (in response to dwalker1948)You'll be in unsupported territory. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. My bet is that you'll have issues.
