With the adjustment for your install location (as Rick mentioned), you should find the helper file along this path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 8\CSH API\JavaScript

This would be the RoboHelp_CSH.js file. Other APIs are there too.

Welcome to our community

I'm assuming by "Helper function" you are meaning the WebHelp API?

I believe it is stored in a subfolder of your RoboHelp installation folder. That location will vary depending on your RoboHelp version and your operating system.

So what version of RoboHelp are you using? And what is your operating system?

Cheers... Rick

I think so not, sure if it Is  called Web Help API,  Currenlty we are using Version 8 and the operating system is windows 7. Currenlty we have a very old Helper javscript function.

// Macromedia

// Copyright© 1998-2004 eHelp® Corporation.All rights reserved.

// RoboHelp_CSH.js

// The Helper function for WebHelp Context Sensitive Help

//     Syntax:

//     function RH_ShowHelp(hParent, a_pszHelpFile, uCommand, dwData)

/

I want to replace the current javascript file which we have(which is very old,the fuction check's for internet explorer 4 , and navigator 6) and replace with the newer javascript file.

Thanks for your reply
