Declaration of style 'direction' conflicts with previous declaration

    Alex.Ramiro

      Hi all,

I'm migrating a big project from Flex 3 to Flex 4. Every time I manage to solve a gorup of compilation errors. I always obtain the following:

Declaration of style 'direction' conflicts with previous declaration in C:\Archivos de programa\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\4.5.0\frameworks\libs\mx\mx.swc(mx.controls:NumericStepper).

In this case the affected class is numericSttepper, but I'm getting this error with a lot of Flex Component Classes.

In fact, I got this error before (the NumericStespper one I mean), and I fixed it by changing mx:NumericStepper to s:NumericStepper. But I'm getting the error again!!!

I know ther are several threads about this fact, but all of them try to solve a specific class error and I would like to know the root cause for this error happen. i need something general to cope with al these conflict errors.

Please, I'm wasting a lot of time with this ... anyone could help?.

Thanks in advance and kind regards.

      Alex.
