I've created an acrobat document that shows/hides layers on click of various buttons, and these buttons are set up as icons with hover states. What I'd like to do is have the icons change depending on if they have been clicked or re-clicked (i.e. off/on). I see mouseover, click (down) etc, but I'm not seeing how to change the icons default state. Ultimately I simply want to toggle an icon between 'icon-on' and 'icon-off' depending on the click action. All images would have to be embedded in the PDF initially (assumes a disributed PDF), so if I simply wanted the default state to be the same as "mouseover" or "mouseoff" on a toggled basis, how would I do that?
Use the buttonGetIcon and buttonSetIcon field methods. You can store the icons for a particular button in a hidden button.
