I decided to give Premier Pro CS5 a try, having previously used Sony Vegas for the short videos I create.
Everything was going very smoothly until I lost the Master Timeline Window (labeled Sequence 01). On it I had a number of video and audio tracks laid out with all the necessary fad in and outs and other settings.
When I open the project, I have the following tabs visible on my screen.
Program (no sequences)
Timeline (no sequence)
All the options under Sequence are greyed out.
Thanks you for your help.
Double-click a sequence in the Project Panel to load it into the Timeline Panel.
Thank you for your reply.
I don't have any objected named Sequence and all the listed items are my own. I am going on the assumption that for unknown reasons the sequence got deleted.
Provided that I am correct and that I did delete the sequence, what would be the reasoning behind allowing the only active Sequence in a project to be removed?
Only you would know the "reason" why you deleted a sequence.
I would be thinking that you didnt do this and it is still there in the Project Bin....somewhere.
Look a little harder for it. If there is a Folder Icon at the top of the bin...click it open.
Type 01 in the search bar maybe.
