    Adobe 10. How do I close a PDF without getting the prompt "do you want to save?"


      Adobe Reader 10(X). Win XP. SP3+

      I want to view a pdf and close it without being prompted to save it everytime. Is there a simple setting I change? Will changing my user rights to read only work? Is there a simple registry edit that removes this flag or removes my ability to save pdf's . I would be ok with any of these options...


      You might ask "why not change your rights, then see if it works?"...this is a company PC, and I need to know which path to pursue inside the company. There are multiple IT departments, and I need to know which one to send it to. Thank you.
