I have a video of a snowboarder doing a trick and i have made a mask that follows him for the whole trick. Now i want to slow down the rotoscoped image; but the mask doesn't follow. I have tried selecting all of the mask keyframes and pressing alt to stretch them to the same duration as the video, but every 2nd or third frame the mask moves without the image actually moving.
So how do i stop the mask from automatically moving between the keyframes once i stretch it across time???
I have also tried precomp but the same thing seems to happen.
Thanks in advance
Haha, figured it out
For anyone else with this problem just highlight all the keyframes. Right click and select Keyframe Interpolation, and in Temperal Interpolation change the value to hold. Then stretch the keyframes to suit
Thanks for closing your thread with a useful solution, hardly anyone ever does that. It helps everyone.
Another way to skin this particular cat: prerendering. You can prerender the roto work, importing it into AE, and THEN do the speed change.
