Printing PDF file in landscape 2 up

    PDFQ007

I'm using Adobe Reader 9.3 and Windows XP.   I'm printing a pdf file in landscape 2 up (duplex).   Printing other files and web pages work ok but when printing a PDF file, the pages come out with the second page on top and the and the first page below.   Is this a known bug in printing PDF files?

I've succeeded in reversing the prints where the pages are printed in reverse order and this works up to a point but because I'm also printing on both sides of the paper if the document has an odd number of pages then its the first page that contains the blank page behind it.

Why does the pdf document being printed work diferently to all other document printing and is there a solution to this problem?

      Thanks,

      George.
