I've taken over a flash site that was built with 2.0. I'm not that flash savvy. I can do the basic stuff, but when it comes to action script I'm somewhat lost. I can follow most of the flash tutorials I find on the web.
That said, the navigation bar was built in Photoshop and moved into flash. The client wants me to change one of the pages from "News" to "Media," and the button accordingly, which I've done. This would seem to be a simple thing to do, but it has turned out to be something I just cannot figure out. I found a tutorial and followed the steps, but I cannot get it to work. So, I must be missing something.
Is there someone who can run me through the steps? Thanks.
you already changed the News button to Media so it looks the way you want, correct? when you click Media it's doing nothing or doing something?
Yes. I changed the Media button to a symbol and moved it into replace the News button. I copied the acton script from the News button and pasted it into the Media button. Does that make sense to you?
