Window>Automate (CS5 and up Window>Utilities)
Go to scripts
I think this sets your Measurements to Pts - so you may want to change back to whatever units you're using (right click /cmd click ) on Ruler corner (top left)CTRL/CMD R to bring up Ruler.
Thanks but I'm working on Mac.
Try the VB Script folder? It's all the same.
That's great, thanks a lot Eugene ...
VB Script on a Mac Eugene? Am I being blank or are you being sarcastic?!
@ vector lover uk, just get to your scripts folder somehow and do what Eugene said!
Hm I don't know a lot about working on a Mac anymore, I've never used InDesign on a Mac.
I might be wrong but it's the other way round, Java is the cross platform one, VB (Visual Basic) is Windows specific and Apple Script (surprise surprise!) is Apple specific.
Ah maybe I was getting VB and Apple script confused.
Well guys I wanted a simple solution, but mucking about with scripts is not my thing, but thanks for your input ....
You just select the shape - then double click the script?
It's nowhere near as good as illustrators twirl capabilities.
But that's how you CAN do it in InDesign.
Only other option is to do it in illy.
