I am having a memory issue I could really use some help with...
When my AIR app starts up I load an empty application shell (a few icons and a few custom button skins but very minimal) and a popup login window. When I profile the application in Flash Builder it says on statup the app consumes about 8,000K of memory. I can look at the live objects within the profiler and account for everything, and everything looks in order.
However, when I run the application from the desktop the same application on statup (app shell with login window) consumes 122,000K of memory (reported by Task Manager). Could some one explain this discrepency?
The application uses the "extended desktop" profile and is using Flex 4.1, AIR 2.6 SDK.
Thanks in advance.
