Probably sending signals using the LocalConnection class is the best way.
Probably sending signals using the LocalConnection class is the best way
This will work of course - one additional information: I think that connection name needs to start with underscode e.g. "__application__test__connection__" - otherwise it will be prefixed in AIR application with custom domain name constructed per-application (unless I'm totally wrong and forgot something important)
If the base connection name is “appConnection,” then the entire string to use in the connectionName parameter is: "app#com.example.air.MyApp:appConnection", where the receiving app id is "com.example.air.MyApp".
At least according to:
connection name needs to start with underscore
I think I should add - that using underscore would allow to not use prefixed connection names and prefixed domain names - but this is less secure (though easier to implement).
Hi, Thank you Peter and Joe.
I'll try to implement what you two advised.
But It may take time because of lack of my knowledge.
I have to learn more about localConnection.
