    Button Roll Overs

    CellaMarr Level 1
I was hoping that someone would take a look at a sample page I made and help me figure out how to solve my problem. http://www.marcellariley.com/Sample.html If you hold your mouse over the buttons you will see that the rollover effect has included a gray box around the them. I do not want that box there. And I do not know how to remover it. What I think is happening is that on frame 2 (which is where the button's rollover effect is) the sliced area around the button (my background) is being included in the rollover effect. How do I prevent this from occurring?

That is the way you have created those images. Go back to fireworks and
take a look at frame 2. You need to make the images in that frame look
          the way you want.

I am not sure if you understand my problem. The gray box that appears when the mouse is over a button..... I don't want that there. I did not create that as part of my rollover effect.

I looked at your code and went straight to one of the images that
              constitutes your rollover effect.
That is what the image looks like which means that it is getting
exported out of FW that way. So that is the part you need to fix.

For example, here is a direct link to the HEADSHOTS rollover image:
              http://www.marcellariley.com/images_sample/Sample_r2_c5_f2.jpg

The gray background is part of the image coming from FW and I am
guessing, the way it looks in frame2.
If you would like I could take a look at your png file - you can email
it to me at alexmar at mt dot net.
