Sample scripts don't work in Acrobat FDF Toolkit

    roc524 Level 1

I am trying to use the Adobe FDF Toolkit to enable me to run Perl CGI scripts to generate and parse FDF data on my server.  I am using Perl version 5.12.1 in Windows Vista with the local XAMPP/Apache Server.

In the "Adobe FDF Toolkit Overview and Reference" document, it says:

"To install the Perl FDF Toolkit on Windows, create a directory called Acrobat in the lib folder of the Perl installation. Copy FDF.pm into the Acrobat directory.
In order to load the libraries, you will also need to install the FDF.dll and FDFTK.dll in the root of your lib folder."

I copied those files into those folders.

I tried running the sample FDF Perl script named: GenerateFDF.pl.
But I can't get past the use Acrobat::FDF; statement in any script, even a functional "hello world" script.

When executed on my Apache localhost, it says:
Server error!  The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.
Error message: Premature end of script headers. Error 500

So please tell me: how can I get the use Acrobat::FDF; statement to work in my Perl script?
