      Hello,

How do you overcome the error message I see with an MP4 video being blocked in IE9 unless in compatability mode?

I can't ask client to tell all his clients to run his website in compatability mode!!!

I get no warning in IE9, but I have it set to display ALL websites in compaitbility view so it rarely runs into troubles.

MP4 video is one of those things IE hits a bump with, which is why it has to be switched to compatibility mode. Since it's an individual user setting there isn't a lot you can do in your page to prevent it from popping up. Just like some users turn javascript off, you can't force it on in a webpage.

Is there a specific reason you went with an mp4 as opposed to an SWF which wouldn't pose this problem?

            Hello,

Thanks for looking.  The original movie was swf but the client insists that he wants to see it on his iPad/iPhone etc...  And he's a big Apple fan but doesn't understand  the Adobe / Apple war and just says make it work on both !!!

So, a DMXzone extension was used to create it.

            Cheers again.
