2. Re: Acrobat 9 gone
quality11 Jun 13, 2011 8:07 AM (in response to Daniel Flavin)I installed it while Acrobat 10 was on my machine. I tried making a PDF but it wouldn't even so I uninstalled 10, rebooted my computer and now when I make a PDF it says it made one even though it doesn't and then it tries to make another and a dialogue box that I've never seen before comes up saying it's creating one. I had to force it to close b/c it just sits there and tries to make another PDF after it made one. There is no PDF....
Only 9 is on my machine and it is not working properly.

4. Re: Acrobat 9 gone
Daniel Flavin Jun 13, 2011 9:06 AM (in response to quality11)Adobe released a small batch of code circa CS5 release - Clean Script - it
gets lots of mention over in the InDesign forum.
Basically, when out of order installs are attempted, it really screws up the
works. I suspect that could be the case here. I don't want to have you
chasing you tail, this utility may not pertain to Acrobat, but its function
completely scours the system and removes all previous clutter.
Have a search, either Google or in the forums for Adobe Clean Script
Utility.

quality11 Jun 13, 2011 9:59 AM (in response to John T Smith)Thank you both. Bummer, though, I have to uninstall my whole Suite and then reinstall. You know how long that takes.
