Isn't it already in Flash Media Server 4.0?
Thanks guys, I'll have a look into that.
I'm a huge P2P theorist. I can make a game like Tekken with 5000 people on a 3MB/s broadband cable. I'm fairly certain you can make a video game with a million people or more in the same zone once broadband starts supporting 1 GB/S.
For now, I'm just trying to sneak by low server costs by making the clients hold the load and data like a cloud.
P2P is great for companies that don't have much funding because you can basically take a 100$/month business class connection and host a server on it.
Is there a mailing list or online chat group dedicated to AS3 P2P?
I always find learning a new technology is easier when there are helpful people ready to answer questions.
My questions now:
Can you force every peer to connect to every other peer for the sake of speed? Or are you stuck with laggy multihops?
Where do I find source code examples?
I want to send a packet,"Hello World" between two computers, so I can turn a game I already made into multiplayer.
