    Video is choppy?

    L3pton Level 1

Sorry this is probably a basic question, but the footage from my Panasonic HDC-TM900 is quite choppy. The audio is fine, am I selecting the wrong preset? What preset would I use shooting at 1920x1080 24p (I'm in Europe so I know PAL should be used)? I selected DSLR-1080p-DSLR 1080P24 but it is still choppy

Your camcorder shoots in AVCHD format. You should be using one of the AVCHD project prests when you create your project. (1920x1080 with the correct audio settings -- since your camcorder is capable of shooting in both stereo and 51. audio.)
